Business of the Month

October, 2015

Fairport Perinton Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce Brookdale Fairport as the October 2015 Business of the Month.

Brookdale's Enhanced Assisted Living care combines a rewarding lifestyle with comfortable accommodations, and is for residents who need help with some daily activities like wardrobe, hygiene or dining.   Brookdale Fairport, formerly Emeritus at Perinton Park Manor, is conveniently located off Route 31, near Route 250, in the town of Perinton.

Laurie Bennett, Executive Director at Brookdale Fairport is proud of the innovative company for which she invests her professional time.  “Our community is a part of the largest network of senior providers in the nation. Brookdale brings new life to senior living. At Brookdale Fairport, you will find no one that enables and facilitates closer relationships better than we do. People work here because they can have close relationships with seniors, their families and with each other. We lift the burden of tough decisions off family members to enable them to focus on their own close family relationships,” Laurie added.

In addition to serving its own residents, Brookdale Fairport reaches out into the community.  They participate in organizations like the Fairport-Perinton Chamber of Commerce, the Alzheimer's Association, Veteran's Assistance Programs, and local senior centers.

Attention to living a meaningful, purposeful life is what is going on at Brookdale Fairport.  The Chamber likes the values they project. Chamber President Paul West pointed out, “It's a worthy choice for consideration, offered to our senior citizens, living with assistance on the easily accessible Chardonnay Drive in Perinton.”
