The September Fairport-Perinton Chamber of Commerce Business of the Month has been awarded to Ellen Reynolds, of Aflac. Ellen Reynolds has been an Independent Agent with Aflac for 18 years. She works with businesses in the Rochester area to provide solutions and benefit enhancements with supplemental insurance from Aflac for their employees, such as Disability, Dental, Hospital, Cancer, Accident and Life Insurance.

Outside of the office, Ellen enjoys relationship building and meeting new people, as well as gardening, yoga and reading. She belongs to two book clubs and the Four Seasons Garden Club. Chamber involvement has been a good match for Ellen’s relationship building and desire to meet new people.  Ellen sits on the Board of Directors of the Fairport-Perinton Chamber of Commerce and she also is the Event Planner for the Chamber. She has been a Chamber member for over a decade, and spent seven of those years coordinating Chamber events, serving on the Board as Event Chair. Ellen stated, "Through the Chamber, I have achieved a better appreciation of our community. Developing relationships with Board and Chamber members has been a success factor in my professional growth. I recommend the Chamber for those who are seeking professional growth. If you become active in the Chamber, you gain visibility, identify and learn from local talent, and become more passionate about your community."

Kellie Wright of Alliance Advisory Group, on behalf of the Chamber Membership Committee, expressed thanks to Reynolds for her contributions to the Chamber, “Our members value the opportunities the Chamber provides for visibility to develop relationships, to ultimately increase sales and to serve their consumers more effectively.  Plus, employers utilize Chamber educational forums to further develop their employees.  Ellen plans the events, including educational opportunities. Her long-term tenure, being an active member of our Chamber, enriches the professional lives of all our 150 plus members.
