Christopher's Challenge Fundraiser 12/7/17 Join us at Chandeliers Boutique, 1 South Main Street, Pittsford, NY, on Thursday, December 7 from 5:00pm-8:00pm for a fun filled evening of shopping, drinks and appetizers. A percentage of your purchase will be donated to Christopher's Challenge. Christopher's Challenge is named in honor of Christopher Costello, a young man from Webster, New York, who was suffering from leukemia, in need of a bone marrow transplant, and found a match. Christopher's Challenge pays for the typing of samples for individuals willing to become potential donors through Be The Match.

Saelig Acquires Automation Control Products Saelig Company, a distributor of electronics, electronic test and measurement equipment, has acquired the product lines and inventory assets of Jeffrey Kerr, LLC, a California maker of servo and stepper motor control boards and ICs. Saelig will now handle fabrication and distribution of the JRKerr products, which include I/O and motion controllers and related products in addition to servo and stepper motor controllers. Advent House Opens Boutique & Shop Advent House has opened Sweet Charity Resale Boutique & Shop. Advent House, an outreach ministry of Perinton Ecumenical Ministries, Inc., is a non-profit comfort care home that provides an alternative living arrangement for the dying when they can no longer be cared for in their own homes. Jenna Windheim Signs Letter of Intent FAST (Fairport Area Swim Team) Swimmer Jenna Windheim signs her letter of intent with Edinboro University Fighting Scots. Jenna is a two time state qualifier, a 4 year Fairport Varsity Swimming Team member and is a counselor at Camp Cory in the summer. She will be majoring in nursing.

RAMP Introduces New Instructor RAMP (Rochester Area Music Project) welcomes new wind instrument instructor, Luke Norris. Luke has a well rounded list of accomplishments within the music industry. The Eastman School of Music graduate completed his degree in Jazz Saxophone, and he also studied flute and clarinet. He recently returned from a U.S State Department-sponsored trip to Japan with the Eastman Jazz Sextet, performing in the Tokyo Jazz Festival. Last year, the Long Island native won second place in Keilwerth's Saxophone Idol Competition and third prize in the North American Saxophone Alliance Jazz Saxophone Competition. Norris explained his excitement for his new position at Rochester Area Music Project, "Music has always been a huge part of my life. I will enjoy being able to help students discover their passion for playing and challenge their abilities to make them the best musicians they can be."

Darren Miller of CUSTOM 100 Celebrates 2 years at Carlson CoWork For over 9 years, Darren has been developing websites and graphics for small businesses. The last 2 were spent at Carlson Cowork, the current home of CUSTOM 100. Cowork spaces are low cost offices space for entrepreneurs or small businesses.
Carlson promotes a culture of community, collaboration, and capitalism. Darren sees this space as an advantage to his business because it provides a network of others within the digital design industry and a place to work with clients on their projects.
Calson is located in the city of Rochester in the Stromberg-Carlson building that was formerly a manufacturing facility telephones during WWII. It's in the same building as Radio social and the new Comedy @ Carlson comedy club. Darren looks forward to many more years at Carlson!
