They say you can’t judge a book by its cover.

Most people know Leeh Hardy as “Lefty,” a certified bookkeeper, educator/trainer and office manager at Bookkeeping Professionals, Inc., a local firm founded by three CPA’s to teach start-ups and small businesses how to manage their finances.

Other community professionals recognize her through her volunteer work with several business-oriented organizations, such as SCORE, the premier small business counseling and advice organization in the United States.

What few people know about the 60 year-old Penfield resident is that she spent almost two decades traveling the country, honing her skills in fine art photography and transformational healing.

“I don’t think within the box,” she laughs. “I am always willing to look at things in another way, and you have to do that if you are going to be in business.”
