Raising over $250,000 for Seniors in Fairport Area

Rochester, NY – January 8, 2016 — The Tool Thrift Shop marks five years in business with an Anniversary Celebration on January 22 at 10 AM. The all-volunteer run Tool Thrift Shop raised $250,000 to benefit Senior Options for Independence (SOFI) which provides senior support services in the Perinton community. SOFI is a partnership with Fairport/Perinton Senior Living Council and Fairport Baptist Homes.

The Anniversary celebration begins on Friday, January 22 at 10 AM and will be attended by NYS Assemblyman, Mark Johns, Perinton Town Supervisor, Mike Barker, and Fairport Mayor, Fritz May. Refreshments will be served.

As part of the anniversary, a 3-Day Sale will take place on Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday (January 19, 22, 23) with 50% off all hand held power tools. There will also be an in-store drawing on the 22nd to win a $25 gift card.
