2nd Annual Step Up For Seniors Walk

Join us for the 2nd Annual Step Up For Seniors Walk to benefit Fairport Baptist Homes. This fun filled event starts and finishes at Fairport Baptist Homes. Don Alhart from 13 WHAM will be our "MC" and will lead the group on our 2 mile route through the Fairport Village to the canal path and back.
Registration/check in will begin at 9am. The walk will begin at 10am. Join us after the walk for refreshments and fun at the finish line.
Registration is free and there is no fundraising minimum. However, you can win some great prizes for raising money or making your own donation.
A free Fairport Baptist Homes tumbler/cup to the first 100 people who register (You must pick it up at the walk) Raise $50 or more and get our event t-shirt. Raise $250 or more and get a cozy sweatshirt. Special prizes for top team leaders and top fundraisers!
Fairport Music Festival

The Fairport Music & Food Festival is a music festival held in Fairport on Liftbridge Lane near the Box Factory Building, which features music and food from local restaurants. It promises to be a fun filled day that offers music on three stages from more than 20 bands and entertainers, tons of kids' activities, and over 20 area restaurants for great food.
All the proceeds go to Golisano's Children's Hospital at Strong.

Angel's Walk

FiveAngels.org and the Fairport Angel Walk are dedicated to these beautiful ladies and their wonderful families. This year's Angel Walk is scheduled for Friday, August 1, 2014, celebrating the anniversary of the Celebration of Life held at Fairport High School. Over 4,000 people have attended the event to show their love and support for the families.
We hope that the Angel Walk continues in the spirit of the Celebration of Life and that you'll join us to support a great cause.
All proceeds from the Angel Walk will be donated to the Joey Fund. The Joey Fund was established by Principal David Paddock, following the tragic death of Fairport High School student Joey Anderson, as a way to live out community support. The fund is administered by high school administrators, along with an annual selected group of seniors, to support Fairport families in crisis. The Five Angel families believe that this connection is appropriate, to return community support which we all received at the time of the tragedy and throughout the past years.

Walgreens Summer Fest / ADA Fundraiser BBQ
Fairport Walgreens will be hosting a Summer Fest BBQ Fundraiser. Saturday July 19th, serving from 11:30am - 3:00pm.
ALL proceeds from the BBQ will go to the American Diabetes Association (ADA).
For $12, you will get a combo plate containing fresh pulled pork with sauce, charcoal basted chicken leg and thigh, fresh cornbread, and two homemade sides... Catered by Sticky Lips BBQ. It is one hefty meal for $12, great value and for a good cause!
If you plan on coming, please stop by the store in advance to purchase meal tickets. Store leadership will have tickets ready. Although walk-ups are encouraged the day of the event, Sticky Lips determines food quantity based on presales.
Tickets can be purchased with cash at the Fairport Walgreens - 6707 Pittsford Palmyra Rd, Fairport, NY 14450, (585) 360-1814.
We will also have a food drive to support the Open Door Mission and donation bags will be ready for customers to purchase and donate.
Local businesses and organizations are invited again as well, which will be 10:30am - 3:00pm. Please call or stop in to the store for more details. We are expecting this to be our biggest festival yet!

The State of the Town 2014 will be held at the Burgundy Basin.
The event will feature discussions on the current state of the town, village, and chamber as well as ideas for future projects and developments.
Faiport Mayor Fritz May & Perinton Town Supervisor Mike Barker will be speaking.
