Business of the Month

February, 2019

Canandaigua National Bank (CNB) & Trust is 132 years old and has been awarded the February Fairport-Perinton Chamber Business of the Month.

Older than the famous 105 year old Fairport Lift Bridge, Canandaigua National Bank & Trust has grown to 23 bank offices, plus Wealth Management and Mortgage locations.

CNB Perinton has been a long-time member and supporter of the Chamber. Board Director Kellie Wright noted, “We can always count on CNB to be a participant at our Chamber events. Participation is important, to ensure a critical mass for business networking.  Also, CNB offers a trusted resource of information about the banking industry.”

Chris Pedrone is the Branch Manager at CNB Perinton.  Chris can be found at the Chamber events, many times flanked with another Colleague from CNB.  His 34 years within the banking industry has earned him a wealth of knowledge to share.

CNB Perinton reaches out to the greater community through their inviting newly remodeled office.  Freshly brewed coffee always awaits and while you are sipping, you can view their display of local businesses.  Chamber President James Bilotta noted, “The Fairport-Perinton Chamber appreciates this visibility opportunity for our members.” Plus, CNB Perinton’s welcoming nature provides the community with a conference room which can be reserved for private meetings.  A good example of reaching out to the community was the visit of Financial Representative Cynthia Doyle at the home of one of CNB’s 92 year-old customer.  Doyle visited the CNB customer during her lunch hour to help the customer balance her check book, when she could no longer drive to the bank.

Being a member of the Fairport-Perinton Chamber is just one community tie which Pedrone has created and nurtured.   Pedrone also serves as Vice President of the Merchants Association of Fairport.  You will also see him at Canal Days, as he organizes security for the weekend event.  In the past, Pedrone served as a foundation board member for another Chamber member, the Fairport Baptist Homes, as well.

Professionals with business interests within Perinton, Fairport, Egypt and Bushnell’s Basin, along with CNB Perinton, can join in on this business-relationship building organization, the Fairport-Perinton Chamber of Commerce.  Visit https://fairportperintonchamber.org/
