The Summit opened its Perinton branch, located at 665 Moseley Road, Fairport, in June 2013. The Credit Union is a not-for-profit financial institution owned and operated exclusively by its members. . OCED Issues 2015 Annual Report

Fairport Office of Community + Economic Development reports on project-filled 2015. Annual Report highlights include: (full report here)

1. Assisted the development of new waterfront condos and senior housing facilities with a total project cost of $36,000,000, expected to create close to 50 new jobs.
2. The Residences at Canalside - 48 canalside condos
3. High View Senior Apartments - 71 senior apartments
4. The Memory Care Residences at Creekstone - to serve 56 dementia patients
5. Approved over $500,000 in commercial loans to local businesses that leveraged $2,200,000 in private investment and estimated to create 25 new jobs.

Kathryn Castro Achieves New Certification

Kathryn Castro, a Financial advisor with Ameriprise Financial in Fairport, NY has achieved the professional certification of CDFA through The Institute for Divorce Financial Analysts™. Castro trained to provide financial information and assistance to include evaluating the tax implications of dividing property and the settlement options for dividing pensions, marital property and awarding of child and spousal support.
