Monthly Networking

Thank you to Spinelli's Catering & Event space for hosting our Chamber's holiday party!

If you would like to attract attention to your business or organization, please reach out to Chamber Board Director Ramona Stein (Info@sflHearing.com) to be placed on the 2025 schedule. We strive to have a networking event each month. The host may choose the time of day ~ coffee, lunch, after hours. Approximately 15-25 attendees can be expected. You can host at your office or at a venue of your choice. You can even join in with other Chamber members to jointly host the event!

Stay tuned ~ a pickleball event is being planned!

Where There’s a Will, There Is a Way—Sometimes with Upset Relatives

The death of a family member can evoke a range of emotions—sadness, grief, regret, or even relief when a decedent’s last illness and suffering has been hard or long.

After the family member’s death, some issues may surface that other family members did not foresee. When the Last Will and Testament of the decedent is presented to the Surrogate’s Court for probate, each person and entity named in the Will must receive notice of the probate proceeding, and a copy of the Will. Those documents must also be sent to everyone who would receive a share of the decedent’s estate if there were no Will—effectively, the closest living relatives, who are known in probate law as “distributees.”

Our Chamber member McConville Considine Cooman & Morin PC are available to support you through this unwanted journey. https://fairportperintonchamber.org/?q=member/mcconville-considine-cooma...
