Thanks for the "Takers!"

Thank you Lollipop Farm for providing an unpaid internship opportunity for a Fairport High School student! With the students' school schedules of attending classes two days a week, some students are looking for unpaid internship experiences to learn more about the professional workplace.

With CDC guidelines in place, experience can be in-person, virtual or a combination of both. If you would benefit from a student intern 2-4 hours a week, or have any questions, please contact Sandy Hoodak at sHoodak@Fairport.org or 585-421-2100 x22441.

You could give someone A Second Chance At Life!

Would you like to become a potential bone marrow donor and give a patient an opportunity for A Second Chance At Life? Christopher's Challenge can provide kits for typing, socially distanced, for anyone between the ages of 18-55. The initial testing requires a brief health history and a cotton swabbing of your mouth. Christopher's Challenge can drop the kit off to your home and pick it up when it is completed. During this pandemic, we have been unable to hold drives in person, but there are many patients still in need of potential donors. Please contact Chamber member Kathy Costello at kCostell@rochester.rr.com or 585-414-5345 if you are interested.
