TOWNSUPERVISOR CIARAN HANNA ANNOUNCES PERINTON PARKS MEMORIAL BENCH PROGRAM
Perinton Town Supervisor Ciaran Hanna announced the Memorial Bench Program, offering residents a meaningful way to honor loved ones, commemorate special occasions, or create a lasting tribute in our parks. Individuals may purchase a classic 6-foot cherry wood bench with a personalized plaque. Participants will work with the Town’s Parks Department to choose an appropriate park location, ensuring a meaningful and accessible placement.
Two options are available:
• New Bench: $3,000 – includes a brand new bench, plaque, and installation.
• Replacement Bench: $2,500 – replaces an existing bench with a new one, including the plaque and installation.
Each bench features a custom plaque that may include a name, date, and a brief message. Two plaque options are available: a standard gold-colored aluminum plate (included) or an upgraded cast bronze plaque for an additional $175. Benches are maintained by the Town for at least 10 years and the installation process typically takes 4–6 months following approval and payment.
Christopher's Challenge 3rd Annual Golf Tournament
Christopher's Challenge, a not-for-profit with a volunteer board, is hosting it's 3rd Annual Golf Tournament on Friday, May 23, 2025 at Mill Creek Golf Club! They are looking for sponsorships and raffle and auction prizes. Christopher's Challenge's mission is to educate, draw awareness, and type potential bone marrow donors in order to give patients a second Chance At Life. Serving the community, Spruce Grove Dental has partnered with St. Joeseph School through the SJS Foundation. For every new patient seen at the practice, a donation will be made to the Stevens-Johnson Syndrome Foundation’s Education Fund.
