• Sign into your personal twitter account and start to type the Chamber’s twitter handle (@PerintonChamber) into the “Search Twitter” bar or visit (https://twitter.com/perintonchamber)
    • When the name pops up, click on the pop-up.
    • Click the “follow” button; it will say “following.”
  • Repeat the above process for your business twitter account.
  • When posting on your own account and it is relevant to mention the Chamber, always use thehandle: @PerintonChamber.
    • If you mention other organizations with twitter pages, use their handles as well.
    • Using pop-up handles increases the chances of your post appearing on their newsfeed. For keywords which are popular, precede the keyword with “#.”
  • 4. After you attend a Chamber event, go to the Chamber site and add your experience by clicking Reply, Retweet, or More (Share via Direct Message) on the event post.
    • If you do not find the event post, go ahead and tweet about your experience on your own site, making sure to type the Chamber’s twitter handle, getting a pop-up and clicking the pop-up, to increase the chances of your post appearing in the Chamber’s tweets.
